QC Inspector & EOL Test Technician - Brisbane Bayside

CT Labour Hire is an Australian owned business based just south of Brisbane City. We service companies in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Darling Downs and throughout Australia.

Our client, who has an international presence, is a leader in the Electrical Assembly / Manufacuring industry and currently experiencing positive growth.

We have 3 roles available for an immediate start, based in the Eastern Suburbs / Bayside Area of Brisbane.

QC (Quality Control) Inspector
This role shall be conducting Final Quality Control.

Duties

• Conduct FQC inspections on all the chargers built;
• Actively maintain the build records for all product inspected on production lines;
• Ensure all engineering changes are captured in the build and ensure no part quality or process error states escaper into the field;
• Author/Document all non-conformances or issues arising from the FQC process;
• Effectively communicate to the Quality Manager any critical issues in a timely manner;
• Attend and participate in Toolbox meetings where necessary.

Competencies

1. LEAN Manufacturing competency, with Incoming/Line/Final quality control expertise;
2. Issue report authoring & root cause activity;
3. High level of MS office applications, including Word, Access & Excel;
4. Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical engineering or Professional Quality Practioner (ISO 9001:2015);
5. 2 years min. experience in a manufacturing environment, at least 1 year in an electrical, semi-conductor or power electronics environment;
6. Experience of LV mains to 415VAC & DC Systems up to 1000V highly desirable.

EoL (End of Line) Test Technician x2
This Role will be the testing and configuring of EoL fully assembled products.

Duties

• Conduct EOL testing / configuration / calibration activities on product & subassemblies;
• Conduct troubleshooting / diagnostic activities including repair of non-functioning / malfunctioning Product;
• Assist the Lead EoL Test Engineer;
• Maintain & update EoL Test / issue reporting / documentation.

Competencies

1. LEAN Manufacturing competency, with End-of-Line testing experience;
2. Root cause diagnostics & debugging of electrical systems;
3. High level of MS office applications, including Word, Access & Excel;
4. Diploma in Electrical/ Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering, or Trade Qualified Electrician;
5. 2 years min. experience in a manufacturing environment, at least 1 year in an electrical, semi-conductor or power electronics environment;
6. Experience of LV mains to 415VAC & DC Systems up to 1000V highly desirable.
