Storesperson with MR & LF Licence - Eagle Farm

CT Labour Hire Pty Ltd specialise in supplying reliable, qualified workers for the building & civil construction, electrical, trades, manufacturing                  and warehousing industries.

We are looking for an experienced Storesperson for ongoing work based in Eagle Farm. Our Client is a large national supplier of building suppliers and has a medium sized warehouse based in Eagle Farm.

You will be working hand-in-hand with the other storeman, picking and packing orders by a run sheet, forklift duties within the warehouse, loading and unloading inbound trucks and on occasion, you will make deliveries to customers in Brisbane with the Truck.

You must have a current MR Truck licence & LF forklift Licence to apply. Ideally the suitable candidate will have at least 2-3 years' experience in both warehousing and forklift operations however a can-do attitude is key. Experience in multi-drop, GPS and manual truck driving skills are essential.

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following selection criteria:

• picking and packing orders via run sheet
• ad-hoc warehouse duties, and
• Operation of the 4.5T Forklift
• You must be able to communicate clearly, take & follow directions and be proactive in the workplace;
• You must be very OH&S aware and willing to commit to quality and safety procedures and work instructions;
• Have full PPE including steel capped boots, Hi Vis shirts and long pants;
• Motivation is a key factor in the position as these positions could lead to permanent work;
• Own reliable vehicle and valid licence please note that due to some of job locations public transport may not be available;
• Be physically fit and capable to complete manual tasks the role may involve manual lifting, bending, squatting and kneeling;
• Be willing and able to pass a pre-employment & random drug and alcohol testing during the placement period.
